I just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive! I know that I haven't blogged in forever, but I have a very good excuse! I was taking two classes, not just two classes but two summer classes at the same time. Summer school has a way of messing with sense of time, the month of June was the longest and shortest month of my life! Thankfully it was not in vain! It was definitely a God thing because I was able to get two A's! Now I am just taking one course so I'm hoping I'll have more time to blog!
Other then working on school and taking LeRoy to puppy school we have been busy down here except for this weekend. I have always loved July 4th, Tyler has always loved July 4th so it became "our holiday" when we started dating. It was the first time Tyler held my hand four years ago, then two year ago he asked me to marry him before the fireworks. We knew this year would be different, I mean part of the reason we love July 4th is because we spend time with our families. We ended up spending July 4th with our friends from church and their children. It actually was helpful to watch all the kids enjoy the sparklers and fireworks, it was loud...just like home! haha Then we headed to a bonfire with the Mississippi Family. Dan was setting off his own fireworks, Katie described them best when she called them, "Dan's beautiful/dangerous fireworks."
Overall, it was a very relaxing weekend, spent time with friends, watched eclipse, slept in, and ate some great food. So it wasn't the same but I guess that is apart of growing up. My mom said it best when she said, "It won't ever be the same again."
